Linda Kurtz Honored

Our own Linda Kurtz is being honored at the National Council of Jewish Women-San Francisco’s Annual Awards and Officer Installation Luncheon, Sunday, June 10.  Linda has been a long-time member, an officer and has participated in many projects and programs.

She will be granted the Hannah Solomon Award “for her many years of dedication and leadership.”  Hannah Solomon founded in 1893 and was president of the National Council of Jewish Women, the oldest active Jewish women’s organization in the United States.  Hannah Solomon was an activist and reformer, helping Russian Jewish immigrants settle in Chicago in the late 1800’s and organizing and participating in many civic and social service projects in Chicago.

We are proud of you, Linda!
