Adult Group B’nai Mitzvah on December 15

Group Adult B’nai Mitzvah at Congregation B’nai Emunah.

This week Saturday, December 15, we are proud to announce a special Shabbat Service with the Adult B’nai Mitzvah of Cori Amalia, Sharon Bleviss, Bonnie Lindauer, Chaya Roberts, Katy Safer, Shais St. Martin and Linda Wertheim. This culminates two years of study. Come celebrate with them. Kiddush following services is sponsored by the Adult B’nai Mitzvah class. We will also be celebrating the 63rd Anniversary of the shul.

Rabbi Mark Melamut talks about this remarkable experience:

“Just two years ago, we embarked together on an unknown journey into our Jewish future. Our vehicle was a course entitled “Siman Tov and Mazal Tov.” Two years later, and hours upon hours of learning in class, chevruta and on their own, we have landed. It is an honor to celebrate today with our BE Adult B’nai Mitzvah class.
I’m truly proud of their accomplishments, commitment and dedication to this process, to our community and to Jewish life. May they inspire each of us to understand in our own lives that “it’s never too late to begin.” May today be an auspicious sign for them, their friends and families, our community, the Jewish people and the world.

Mazal Tov! Congratulations!”
