Shanghai Film Festival at Congregation B’nai Emunah

As many of you may know, Congregation BE was originally founded by German Jews who fled through Shanghai more than 60 years ago. We would like to honor our past by offering you to experience not only the screening of the movies but also a unique Q and A session with some of our “Shanghailanders”. Our distinguished guest speakers will be announced shortly.

The two captivating documentaries are very well researched and full of original footage. We are planning on screening  Shanghai Ghetto by Dana & Amir Mann on Saturday, February 2 from 6-9pm and The Port of Last Resort by Joan Grossman  on Sunday, February 10 from 3-6pm.

There will be a large screen and comfortable chairs. We will serve light refreshments.

This is an interfaith event! Please spread the word and bring a friend. Cost of admission is $9 per event.
