The Jewish Folk Chorus of San Francisco is having their 87th end-of-year concert on Father’s Day June 16th at 2:30 PM at the Jewish Community High School of the Bay, at 1835 Ellis Street , San Francisco 94115. There is secure, free parking there, accessible via Pierce Street.
B’nai Emunah chorus members are currently Chaya Roberts, Paul Shkuratov ,and Linda and Frank’s son, Dan Kurtz, who is the emcee. The program is a combination of Ladino, Russian, Yiddish, and English songs, comedy skits, personal recollections & anecdotes, and a sing-along, led by Paul. We sing four- part melodies that are very beautiful.
If you buy advance tickets you get at least two dollars off the door price. Chaya has a few advance tickets left. You can e-mail her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Ticket prices for seniors or disabled is $6 advanced/$8 at door, adults $12 advanced/$15 at the doors.
Please support us with attendance, or buy a ticket for a family member or a friend. It is a great Father’s Day gift, especially if you go to a restaurant after for an early-bird dinner. Bring the family….kids are allowed! Even if you can’t go, it is an IRS deductible donation.
