Benefit Concert with Fred Lifsitz and Friends

Violinist and longtime member Fred Lifsitz collaborated with fellow musicians Sarah and Jennifer Lee as well as Myer Johson-Potter for an afternoon of classical favorites.

The musicians presented a lively program starting off with Vidui by Ernest Bloch. The moving  Kol Nidre by Max Bruch evoked the time of the High Holy Days. The program  then moved on to classics such as the Ciaccona by Johann Sebastian Bach and a lovely Mozart duo for violin and viola.

Members of congregation B’nai Emunah and numerous guests enjoyed this special Mothers Day concert. It was followed by a scrumptious cheese and wine reception.

Special thanks goes to the women of Sisterhood, the organizers of this event.
